Join us for a hike along the coast, exploring the unique freshwater, saltwater, and forest ecosystems around White Point Beach. Discover what local flora and fauna tell us about our surroundings, and how we can help protect them for years to come. Meet at the Ocean Lawn Fire Pit.
The hike will be led by the brilliant, Izzy Clarke who has a BA in Sustainability from Dalhousie University, and is completing a diploma in Natural Resource Environmental Technology at NSCC Lunenburg. She is currently a student intern with the Halifax Northwest Trails Association, working on water quality assessment, wilderness stewardship, and invasive species management.
