N2O: Never-2-Old Program

N2O involves a series of day workshops every second Tuesday from May to September 2018 for those 55 and older, as well as their friends and family. The objectives of the workshops are to foster learning new skills and meeting new people in the community, as well as encourage self-sufficiency, sustainability, outdoor physical activity and creativity.

This will include short presentations on a variety of topics related to the natural environment, rural living, gardening and farming, and local history, as well as guided nature walks around the Centre, hands-on activities, led discussions, and a delicious home-cooked lunch.

The dates for the 2018 N2O program are as follows:

May 8: "A Garden to Dye For" Part 1 - Natural Dye Garden Workshop with Cindy Hagen  10:00am-3:00pm

June 12: Nordic Pole Walking Workshop with James Boyer 10:00am-3:00pm
