N2O: Never-2-Old Program
N2O involves a series of free workshops every fourth Tuesday from June to September 2019 for those 55 and older, as well as their friends and family. The workshops are designed to foster life-long learning and provide opportunities to bring community members together! Participants will enjoy programming that encourages self-sufficiency, sustainability, outdoor physical activity and creativity.
Workshops focus on a variety of topics related to the natural environment, rural living, gardening and farming, and local history. They generally begin with a short presentation on the day’s topic to provide context and instructions for planned activities. Weather permitting, programming will include nature immersion (usually in the form of gentle nature walks), hands-on activities, educational discussions, and a delicious home-cooked lunch.
